Effective August 1, 2019: Changes to Resort Airline Check-In Procedures at Walt Disney World
To further heighten Guest personal information security measures, Disney’s Magical Express will eliminate the Resort Airline Check-In delivery process, which includes the distribution of Resort Airline Check-In boarding passes and valet luggage tags directly to Guest rooms. As part of this change, the phone number for Guests to pay airline luggage fees prior to visiting the Resort airline Check-in Desk will also be retired.
Note: Disney’s Magical Express Transportation Notices delivery process will continue as normal and not impacted by these changes.
HOW DO GUESTS OBTAIN AIRLINE BOARDING PASSES AND CHECK-IN LUGGAGE AT A DISNEY RESORT HOTEL?
Guest flying on eligible airlines can check in for their flight, obtain their airline boarding pass and check their luggage at the Resort Airline Check-In desk at their Disney Resort Hotel.
Note that large groups will be handled separately away from the main Resort Airline Check-in Desks to mitigate congestion.
HOW DO GUESTS PAY FOR AIRLINE LUGGAGE FEES?
Guests can pay applicable luggage fees upon check-in at the Resort Airline Check-In desk. Airline baggage fees can only be paid on the same day Guests are departing from their Walt Disney World hotel.
PARTICIPATING AIRLINES AT RESORT AIRLINE CHECK-IN
Resort Airline Check-In can only print boarding passes for participating airlines.
If Guests are flying on a non-participating airline, visit the front desk / concierge to assist with printing boarding passes.
