I’m a planner by nature – I plan everything! But I often tell people planning a trip to Walt Disney World that sometimes not planning everything is even better! Some of the best things happen when they are not planned. However, when it comes to special events – I feel a bit differently.
Because there is a limited time to enjoy the event, and you naturally want to get your hard earned money’s worth, I do highly recommend organizing, or at bare minimum, prioritizing your night. Know what you want to achieve and what your “must do’s” are. For example, if you are more into trick-or-treating for candy and visiting special character meet & greets, then do that, and prioritize it over everything else. Some of the character meet & greets could have a 2 hour wait, so if you choose to do that, you may not also get in the fireworks and the parade (factoring in waiting time for both).
Remember there are only 5 hours (if you arrive at 7PM), to enjoy the party. Make sure you make the most of every moment!
